My funny Gemma
ok, so it's midnight and I should be asleep, but I had to share what just happened. Gemma is sleeping next to me and out of somewhere in her dreamland something happened. She howled! Gemma howled in her sleep. It woke her up too, she was a little confused as well. Blinked, looked around, then went back to sleep. It was a funny sound . . . wish I had a video recording, it would make lots of people laugh I'm sure. :)

Two Months . . .
Yes, it has been more than two months since I last posted. You would think that since it is summer there would be more time to post. Guess it has just been so busy and full. Ok, so I haven't felt like writing either. However, this morning I'm taking some time to ramble about the last two and a half months.
May: Fourth Quarter came and went. We had a lovely graduation, a fun day the last day of school and said goodbye to many students and families. That was tough, but ok since many of them are good kids and keep in contact.
My cousin and her lovely family came to visit . . . that was fun. We went to the Bar D Chuck Wagon. Good food, fun entertainment. Was sad to see Maria, Ryan and their munchkins go, but they had to make it to a wedding.
Next came cleaning the school and moving out our stuff from the school. I had WAY to much of my own books and things at the school. It got to be rather heavy as well. Crazy me, didn't listen to my back and ended up pulling something . . . lets just say, I don't like the Emergency room, and have little faith in doctors who just automatically assume if you don't have a heart problem, then it must be acid reflux . . . turned out to be, severe muscle strain which in turned caused extreme chest pain. I hate taking pills, but Ibuprofen has been my best friend. It's mostly better, but if I do to much lifting or standing, my upper back sure screams. Oiy! am I getting old? yeah, probably. hehe
June: Came and went extremely fast. I went to Las Vegas with a friend who wanted to company for the drive over there to visit her kids. It was fun :)
Had a few phone interviews, nothing yet . . .
July: 'neen and 'lissa with the kids and Matt flew in for a stop-over and invited me to come and help with VBS in California. Well, how can you turn down that offer? Yeah, exactly, so I went, had a fun time, got to spend time with 'neen and the kids, time with 'lissa. I even fit in a couple job inquiries. Still not sure where that might go, or where God will send me.
OH, then of course I drove to El Paso, TX. That is a pretty interesting drive, and a fascinating place. When coming back north mom (who came with me, and which I'm so glad and thankful she did) and I went to White Sands. OH! I want to go there again! It is just amazing. A little hot at the end of July, but still amazing and fascinating. Need to go there when I have more time and can see it at sunset. :) The sand is so soft, and cool (temperature).
Now that we're all caught up. I'm still looking for work, God will provide, I am sure, anticipating going for another trip west to do some more job searches as well. We'll see. Please keep it in prayer with me.
Oh goodie, here comes August . . . who knows what is in store. Only God. :)
